AKZU Art museum lighting project:

TAG Art Museum was designed by Jean Nouvel, a famous French architect and winner of the Pritzker Prize, and Gilles Clement, a landscape architect and leader of French landscape design. The main building is 17,000 square meters, with 1,200 meters of native coast, 80,000 square meters of outdoor gardens, 28 public art exhibition areas, 500 meters of art bridges and 8 lakes. It focuses on local and global, integrates academic, exhibition, education and collection, and is committed to the promotion and development of modern and contemporary art. It is a cultural field full of psychedelic charm.On June 23, artist Ma Ke's solo exhibition "Preludes and Meditations" opened at TAG Art Museum. The exhibition is a retrospect of Ma Ke's creative process over the past 30 years, and it is also his largest mid-term review to date. This exhibition displays more than 130 works created by Ma Ke since 1997, including paintings, paper, manuscripts, archives, and documentaries. The exhibition is divided into nine units, weaving narratives into the two-story exhibition space of TAG Art Museum, presenting the artist's creation from different perspectives.

At present, there are 10 permanent basic exhibitions and special exhibitions, exhibiting more than 5,000 sets of precious cultural relics, showing Beijing's 700,000-year history of human habitation, more than 3,000-year history of city construction and more than 800-year history of capital construction, condensing Beijing's profound historical and cultural heritage. The new Guangdong Museum of Art is located in the east of the Baietan Greater Bay Area Art Center. It has 11 floors above ground and a construction area of 65,000 square meters. It has 21 exhibition halls and a vast public art area. Together with the Ersha Island Museum, it forms a new pattern of "one museum, two districts" and "dislocated development" of the Guangdong Museum of Art. As an important part of the art center, the new Guangdong Museum of Art will be officially opened to the public on May 1, 2024, focusing on the research of the development ecology of Chinese contemporary art and international contemporary art. The museum area focuses on promoting the protection and restoration of artworks in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and South China.
